Your cellar, your china, your view. The wines you've been saving, the table your family has gathered around for years, the river or the ocean doing what it does at sunset. A restaurant can't lend you any of that. Your home already has it.

How an Evening Works

It begins with a conversation — the occasion, the guests, the foods you love and the ones to avoid. From there we compose a custom menu, handle the shopping (the fish market, the farm stands, the butcher), and arrive with everything the evening needs.

We cook in your kitchen, serve each course at the table, and finish the way we started: quietly. When we leave, the kitchen is spotless and the only evidence of the night is your guests, still talking about it.

For hosts, the practicalities are simple. Tell us your community's gate and arrival routine and we'll follow it to the letter. Tell us about your kitchen — a standard home kitchen is all we need. And tell us early in season: island calendars, ours included, fill quickly from January through April.

What It Costs to Begin

Private dinners start at $100 per guest for the chef's service, plus the cost of groceries for your menu. Every experience is customized, and the final fee depends on the menu, the number of guests, the courses, and the staffing the evening requires — dinners for two, tasting menus, and larger gatherings are quoted individually.
