Best Wine Clubs for People Who Love Dinner Parties
Choosing a club around your cooking, not a quiz. Editorial only — no wine links.
Read the guide →Most of my work is a single evening: I plan, shop, cook and serve in someone’s home, and leave the kitchen clean. But clients ask the same question all year, in the weeks when I am not cooking for them — my parents’ anniversary is in Ohio; my sister just moved; what do I send? This section is my answer, written down. It is deliberately short. A chef’s recommendation should read like a shortlist from someone who buys food for a living, not like a catalogue.
Everything here is food I can stand behind sending: clubs and gifts from sellers who publish what is in the box, what it costs, and how it ships. Where a seller would not say, the product is not here. Where a product includes wine, it is not sold here at all — the wine guides are reading, not shopping, and they explain themselves.

Sold by Murray's Cheese
No price is published here: the merchant's club prices were not read from a merchant page in the build-day check, so no figure is borrowed from review sites. Plans are sold in 3-, 6- and 12-month lengths; the current price is shown by the merchant at purchase. Price checked .
Why I’d send this: This is the club I would send the friend who already buys good cheese and wants to be surprised. It is a discovery box, not a greatest-hits box — that is exactly its point.
Limitations: You do not choose the cheeses; selections are the merchant's and rotate. Cheese is perishable — the recipient needs to be home to receive it or able to refrigerate it promptly. Confirm current price, shipping cost and delivery timing on the merchant's site before ordering.
Florida: Ships to Florida (food; merchant states nationwide online sales). Perishable shipping terms are set by the merchant at checkout.
Plain merchant link, routed through our recommendation tracker. No affiliate relationship is active for this recommendation today, so nothing is earned from this link. If a programme is approved later, this link may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Sold by iGourmet
From $83.00/month
Price as shown on the merchant's own subscription page on . Prepaid 3/6/12-month plans and a pay-per-box option exist; the merchant's page is the authority at purchase. Price checked .
Why I’d send this: The broadest, most giftable cheese subscription here — the pairings and the tasting guide do the teaching, so it lands well even with someone who is curious rather than expert.
Limitations: Selections are merchant-curated; you cannot pick the cheeses. Perishable — plan for the third-week shipping rhythm the merchant describes. Confirm the current per-month price for the plan length you choose before ordering.
Florida: Ships to Florida (food). No state exclusion found on the merchant's subscription pages.

Sold by Snake River Farms
$260.00
Price as shown on the merchant's gift pages in the check window (also $260 in the merchant's own gift guide article; one crawl showed $288 for the separate 'Gift of Gold' box — do not confuse the two). Price checked .
Why I’d send this: This is the big-night-in box — the one I would send for a milestone birthday or a promotion, when dinner itself is meant to be the celebration.
Limitations: Premium frozen beef is a perishable, freezer-first gift. It is a single-occasion splurge, not an everyday purchase — the price reflects that. Confirm contents and price on the merchant's page before ordering.
Florida: Ships to Florida (food, frozen).

Today, this page earns nothing. No affiliate programme is active for verobeachprivatechef.com, no merchant has approved this site, and no link anywhere in this section pays a commission. Every merchant link here is a plain link to the merchant’s own public pages, routed through a simple counter so we can learn which recommendations readers actually use.
What may change, and how you will be told. Applications are being prepared — not yet submitted — for a small number of food programmes: D’Artagnan and iGourmet (via Awin), and, once the network involved finishes reviewing our publisher account, Murray’s Cheese, Snake River Farms and Harry & David (via Impact). Goldbelly’s programme route is still being confirmed. If any programme approves this site, the wording on this page and beneath each affected link will be updated to say so before the link can earn, and this section will name the programme.
Wine is different, and stays different. Wine is discussed on this site as editorial guidance only. There are no wine purchase links here and none will be added until, for that specific merchant, approval exists, its programme’s wine-promotion terms have been read, its current state shipping map has been re-checked, and proper 21-and-over framing is in place. Some food clubs that also include wine are excluded from recommendation here for exactly that reason.
The rules that do not change. Commissions — if any ever exist — will never change what is recommended or the order it appears in; one merchant on these pages is named with no programme at all because honesty required it. Prices are the sellers’, shown with the date they were checked (), and the seller’s page at purchase is always the authority. Nothing here is a review of a product we have been paid to praise; there are no ratings, no invented discounts, and no stock claims beyond what a merchant’s own page showed on the check date.
Questions about any of this: use the contact page — the same one you would use to book a dinner.
